Monday, May 30, 2023, 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm

Presented by Shontoria Quarles

It has been explained on several platforms, Impostor syndrome, also known as the impostor phenomenon or impostorism, is a psychological occurrence in which people doubt their skills, talents, or accomplishments and have a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as frauds. When it comes to the challenges of entrepreneurship, this can be a root cause of either failed businesses or stagnant progress. We have all heard “Fake it till you Make it,” but mental challenges can easily undermine our self-perceptions. How do we uncover the issue, name it and handle our business?

Join us as we look at Impostor Syndrome with our guest speaker, Shontoria Quarles. She will share her experience in entrepreneurism, high-level clientele, project management, and personal development as a 4th generation free-slave. Get inspired to step up and overcome Impostor Syndrome, stop it from turning into a debilitating mindset, and “Mind Your Business” with the AAEA.
